Salomon PowderQuest just got that much better, a new iPhone application for freeriders, designed to provide you with the most accurate new snow forecasts for Europe and North America and helps you discover the best freeride routes. PowderQuest is about finding the deepest snow, exploring new areas and sharing the experience with your friends.

NOT JUST ANOTHER WEATHER APP!
When it comes to the most accurate weather reports combined with best freeride resorts, Salomon PowderQuest delivers. We don’t just take weather report feeds, we have our own personal weatherman report- ing where it will snow. With Morris our weatherman, powder is guaranteed.

FIND YOUR ROUTES
Weve added over 700 freeride routes! The routes are great for inspiration, not for navigating in the mountains. Always use a topographic map, check the local avalanche bulletin and ski or ride with a certified guide. However, the routes in PowderQuest allow you to easily see if the freeride routes in a resort are suitable for you. You can send updates about the freeride routes (just like the local reports) as well.

THE REAL-TIME REPORTING AT YOUR FINGER TIPS!
Making your friends jealous is part of the deal, reporting the conditions on the spot, ultimately generates the most advanced real-time snow forecast there is. Snap an image and define the amount of snow and share it with other skiers as the ultimate “make your friends jealous” weapon. Sharing is caring...

Pros and cons of Salomon PowderQuest app for iPhone and iPad

Salomon PowderQuest app good for

hello, this app is great, but you cant choose the language, and I have a dificult to understand everything in English. would it be possible to choose a language in another update ? See you Adrien.
Very nice App. With every alert I keep on dreaming of POW. Thanks, guys!
Well done! One of the most useful apps for all wintersports lovers... Stunningly precise forecasts!
I like this app very much because of the User photos and the snowmap. Improvements could be made in including the Ski areas into the Map and more Details of the User Reports!
Best weatherforecast ive seen in my life! Gives you all the information you need to ride powder! A lot of great features also included (routes, webcams, avalanche buletin, etc etc) and its free! Keep the deep and load this stuff!!! (Also counts for the new version)
Thanks for creating this App. Helps alot when searching for Pow!

Some bad moments

This app is nearly perfect. Precise weather forecast, good photos and a lot of ideas for a skiing trip :) BUT: for me, it is kind of sad that you cant upload your own photos if you dont have a Facebook account. It would be nice if you can change that. On top of that since the end of the last season the powder alerts are only in dutch. So I cant use this app for planning.
Seems like a good app, but it doesnt have Canadian resorts. Surprising since Canada has some of the best skiing and boarding in the world. Not too impressed salomon!!!!
Seems like an awesome app with much potential but nothing Canadian so I cant use. Not pleased at all
No Canadian resorts absolutely worthless even though its free, What the H Salomon you really blew it with this one, its kind of insulting Salomon dont even recognize the existence of anywhere outside the Alps (There are other mountain ranges in the world)
I know it is a free app so I cant really complain, but the only weather and forecasts it gives you is European weather, so if you live anywhere other than Europe this app is basically useless.
Why send a link to an app to a US email when app only pertains to ski areas in Europe, dumb.
